I cannot believe I’ve never left a review I absolutely LOVE Romanos!! Anyone who knows me, knows about Romanos...lol. Hands down, the absolute very best hoagie ever made..by far!! I have been eating here for 40 years. My entire family has been eating at Romanos for generations. In fact, my dad even started a family tradition...whenever a baby is born into the family, it is a must that the mother is given a hoagie in the hospital..lol..true story! Sadly, we moved away from this wonderful restaurant nearly 30 years ago but we still frequently travel over 50 miles (one way) just to satisfy our original hoagie cravings...I literally just had one yesterday and brought home a box of their frozen hoagies for times when we can’t make the drive. Yes! It’s that good! Great service, Great food!! Honestly, if you haven’t tried Romanos, you’re missing out...do yourself a favor and order a hoagie or 10, you won’t be disappointed!

One word.... WOW. Incredible service, showed up an hour before closing and somewhat drunk but they made me feel like family. In today’s day and age of acting like people are replaceable they treat you like a unique human being. It felt like hanging out at a bros house. Then comes the food.INCREDIBLE. Honestly might be the best pizza in northwest Indiana. Can not recommend enough 10/10

I’ve been eating here for so many years I can’t even remember. I moved out of Indiana, and will grab a hoagie or cheese cubes when I’m in town, but it’s not enough. I tried their frozen Hoagies to-go recently. They did not disappoint!!!! Super easy to heat and eat. Julie Romano always makes my experience an absolute delight, whether I’m dining in, ordering takeout, or grabbing some frozen sandwiches. This is a place everyone needs to try if you’re in the region.

There's a few pizza places on Broad in Griffith, and Romano's is a hidden gem! Theyre located in what was Sopranos, claiming to be Home of the Hoagie, they also have some pretty dynamite pizza that I recommend. Not quite thin crust, not quite thin. Cheese has a salty flavor to it(not overwhelming) and compliments the flavor of the sauce very well, which isn't too sweet or tangy. They also offer the option to get your pizza with garlic crust which made the end of each pizza crust taste exactly like garlic bread crust! Rad. Definitely somewhere I will order pizza from again!

My son and I went there for the first time last night after leaving another business. We got a sausage pizza which was very good with sides of fried mushers and stuffed jalapenos also very good. The woman that took our order was great wished my son who will be entering the Army soon good luck. Definitely will be back

Our food was great. Romano's has been a fixture in Highland since we moved there. I had the chicken parmesan sandwich, others had the roast beef and onion rings, chicken tenders and fries. They were all very good. Next time I will have the ham and mozzarella hoagie. I didn't have the hoagie this time because I had made hoagie's at home a couple days before. They were good but not quite the same as Romano's. I haven't had the roman burger lately but plan to another time. We have not tried the steak and cheese hoagie.

First timer and Cody had all the best recommendations! We enjoyed an amazing burger and hoagie in a spotless dining room. Thanks so much! We’ll definitely be back.
